One way is to start over, NOT, repeat NOT by uninstalling and reinstalling (which in 99% of cases doesn't change anything anyway - in particular, it does not overwrite existing configuration files, so setup errors will not have been corrected). It may not be meaningful to you, but it is meaningful to the program developers. If it was one of those long "run-time error" messages, copy and paste it to a text file and include it. The contents of error messages are there for a reason - to aid in diagnosing and solving the problem that led to the error. If there is one of these from a date before you started doing whatever it was that led to the error, then after renaming the n1mm logger.ini file as in the previous paragraph, you can make a copy of the backup and rename it to just n1mm logger.ini, and then when the program starts, it should start from the configuration it was in as of the date the backup was made. The program automatically creates backups for the ini file, one for each day of the week. ![]() If you have been using the program for some time and there is setup data in your configuration file that you don't want to have to re-create, you may be able to recover that data. You will have to start the setup process over again, but whatever was wrong in your setup will no longer be there. ![]() Choose the option to create a new file (if there is QSO data in an older file, you can recover that later - the goal for now is just to get a fresh start). It will give you a window with some text about a bad ini file and three choices regarding the database: convert an old database file, create a new database file or open an existing database file. The way to start over is by shutting down the program, renaming the n1mm logger.ini file in your Documents\N1MM Logger+ file area (just add a 1 or something to the file name so that the program will not find the file name it is looking for), then restarting the program. ![]() ![]()
